The mining industry in Mexico stands to gain significantly from its proximity to America's abundant and low-cost natural gas. This access will not only attract increased investment but also help alleviate inflationary pressures. As a result, Mexico could emerge as a vital mining vassal for the United States, reshaping the landscape of resource extraction in North America.

Very much so, but the opportunity has not been fully grasped over the past 4-8 years, so significant amount of investment went to South-East Asia (Vietnam, etc) instead. We don't expect major policy shifts with the new administration but neither do we expect anything too radical — which lends itself to certainty- which investors love!

Would agree, this also co-insides with a tilt to a Trump administration which announced a finical war with the cartels which will help Claudia Sheinbaum administration with crime rates, an acceptable pred pro quo

To lower interest in the cartel growth. Mexico has to start offering alternatives , that would start with paying the working people better wages. Poverty breed crime.
